  • potato starch - 120 grams;
  • sugar - 150 grams;
  • vanilla sugar - 8 grams (1 sachet);
  • eggs - 4 pieces;
  • rum or cognac - 2 tablespoons;
  • flour for baking - 120 grams;
  • raisins - 150 grams;
  • powdered sugar.

Amazing crumbly cupcake. Step by step recipe

  1. Before preparing the cake, the butter must be removed from the refrigerator in order to make it soft.
  2. In a bowl for the mixer, spread the butter, add sugar and begin to whisk in a homogeneous mass.
  3. Beat butter and sugar at high speed. Add vanilla sugar to them. If you don’t have such a flavor in your house, it doesn’t matter, you can use lemon zest or whatever you like.
  4. Add eggs to the mixer bowl. But not all at once, but one at a time. They added the egg, beat until smooth, then the second - and so on.
  5. When the mass becomes homogeneous, add rum or cognac to it. Continue to mix further.
  6. Add raisins, which should be washed and dried before mixing the dough. If you don’t like raisins, then you can do without it.
  7. Sift the flour and add to the dough. Pour starch after it. Instead of potato starch, you can take corn.
  8. If you do not have flour for baking, then take ordinary flour and add 0.5 teaspoon of baking powder to it.
  9. We mix the mass, but do it carefully so that the dough does not fall.
  10. Lubricate the cake pan baking dish with butter. We spread the dough into it and put it in the oven, which must be preheated to 175 degrees. The cake will be baked for about an hour.
  11. Check the readiness of the baked product with a wooden stick. The dough does not stick: it means the cake is ready. We take it out of the oven, let it cool and sprinkle with powdered sugar on top.
