Chocolate icing cake

I want to share a wonderful chocolate icing cake recipe that can be used on both February 14th and Birthday! I baked it in the name of my beloved husband. The cake was not only tasty, but also beautiful. Soft cake soaked with milk-nut cream and coated with chocolate icing on top! Well, who will refuse such a tasty gift?

Ingredients:

Dough:

  • flour - 4 glasses;
  • baking powder - 1 ½ small bag;
  • powdered sugar - 1 ½ cup;
  • butter - 300 grams;
  • eggs - 5 pieces.

Cream:

  • milk - 0.5 liters;
  • quail egg - 2 pieces;
  • cocoa powder - 2 tablespoons;
  • flour - 3 tablespoons;
  • walnuts (dried and crushed) - 100 grams;
  • sugar - 100 grams;
  • butter - 50 grams.

Glaze:

  • icing sugar - 150 grams;
  • cocoa - 2 tablespoons;
  • hot water - 3 tablespoons;
  • butter - 2 tablespoons.

To decorate

  • mastic.

Cake with chocolate icing. Step by step recipe

  1. In a cup, mix the flour with baking powder. I pulled out the oil in advance from the refrigerator to make it soft.
  2. Add the powdered sugar to the softened butter and beat until an elastic mass is obtained.
  3. In this mass, I gradually introduced one egg and 1 tablespoon of flour, without ceasing to beat.
  4. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Lubricate with oil and sprinkle with flour the form.
  5. Pour the remaining flour into the dough, beat.
  6. Spread in the form, smooth the surface. Bake until cooked.
  7. Mix flour with cocoa and sugar. ¼ beat the milk and the egg and mix the flour and egg mixture.
  8. The rest of the milk is brought to a boil and a thin stream is poured from the flour into hot milk. Constantly interfering over low heat.
  9. Add the nuts and mix well. We continue to cook on low heat until thickened for 10-15 minutes. Cool for 20 minutes and add soft butter, mix well until smooth.
  10. Now the icing. Mix cocoa and icing sugar. Sift everything through a sieve into a cup. Add hot water, melted butter and mix well until a homogeneous mass is obtained.
  11. Putting the cake together. Cut into 2 cakes. Grease them with cream.
  12. Pour chocolate icing on top and in the refrigerator for 2 hours to cool the cake a little.
  13. I made jewelry out of mastic. It can be bought ready-made or made at home. We decorate the cake and again in the cold. The cake is ready!
