Today, along with “I love to cook,” I want to tell you a very simple recipe for making delicious creme brulee. Tempting appetizing creme brulee is one of the most famous French desserts, and it is quite possible to cook it at home. Such yummy can delight loved ones or meet guests. The taste of vanilla cream is just super. If you have any doubts, then let's cook together, and you will be convinced that the dessert is tastier and more appetizing than creme brulee - it simply does not exist.
- 600 grams of cream (33-35%);
- six chicken yolks;
- 240 grams of granulated sugar;
- a pinch of salt;
- vanilla pod.
Creme brulee at home. Step by step recipe
- In order to prepare an exquisite cream, we need 240 grams of granulated sugar (it seems to me that there is a lot of this sugar, so I add less sugar than the prescription: about 200 grams. And you see for yourself: if you want the dessert to be very sweet , then do everything strictly according to the prescription).
- Combine six chicken yolks (it is advisable to take very fresh yolks, the tenderness of the dessert depends on it), combine with half sugar (about 20 grams of sugar per yolk) and beat (I whisk them with a whisk, but I can also use a mixer).
- Turn on the oven at a temperature of 165 degrees so that it heats up (dessert must be placed in a preheated oven).
- Pour the cream into a small pan (the fatter the cream, the tastier the cream, the cream content I used is 33-35%), the other half of the sugar and a little spoon.
- Put the saucepan with cream on a small fire, add the vanilla pod (cut the vanilla pod, take out the seeds, if the pod is big, you can use half; as an option: add vanilla sugar, vanilla essence instead of the pod) and bring to a boil (you do not need to boil the cream).
- Pour a little hot cream in a thin stream into the eggs, stirring constantly (stir with a whisk intensively so that the eggs do not curl), and only now you can pour the remaining cream into the eggs in a thin stream.
- After the cream is combined with the yolks, a foam forms, it must be removed.
- Hot thick mass can be poured into molds (molds for cream should be heat resistant).
- Put the gourds in a container with high sides (I took a high rectangular shape) and fill them with hot boiled water (you need to fill in with ⅔ to completely cover the cream inside).
- Place the bowls in water in an already preheated oven for 25-30 minutes.
- Remove from oven, refrigerate completely at room temperature and refrigerate for 2-4 hours.
- We take out the well-frozen cream from the refrigerator, sprinkle the top of the cookies with sugar (the more sugar, the thicker the crust) and set fire to a gas burner (if you don’t have a gas burner at hand, you can put the gas oven on grill mode, turn it on for 220 degrees minutes ten).
- Garnish brulee with fresh berries or mint leaves.
