Delicious Curd Dough

  • butter - 200 grams;
  • cottage cheese - 300 grams;
  • sugar - 1 tablespoon;
  • salt - 1/3 teaspoon;
  • baking powder - 10 grams;
  • flour - 300 grams.

  1. Take the cottage cheese and put in a bowl. If you didn’t make cottage cheese yourself and don’t know how to determine freshness, pay attention to the color when buying. Good cottage cheese is white with a cream tint, homogeneous, without any interspersing of another color. If you buy in a market where there is an opportunity to try, know that the cottage cheese should taste sweet with a little acidity.
  2. Rub the cottage cheese through a sieve or use a blender. If you use a sieve, then you need to wipe the cottage cheese like this: put a small amount of dairy product in a sieve, take a pusher or spoon and wipe so that the cottage cheese passes through the sieve and ends up in the pan. So you need to do so that the dairy product thickens and becomes homogeneous. If your cheese is pasty, you can skip this step.
  3. Now add 200 grams of softened butter. To soften the butter, leave it on the table at room temperature for 15 minutes before cooking. And if you forget, use the microwave: put oil in it for 5 seconds and press the milk product with your finger, if the print remains, you can use it, if it is still solid, repeat until softened.
  4. Rub the cottage cheese and butter until smooth.
  5. Now add sugar, salt, baking powder and mix well.
  6. Sift the flour. This is necessary so that it is saturated with oxygen, and the dough is soft and airy.
  7. Add the sifted flour a little to the curd and mix with a silicone spatula.
  8. You may need a little more or less flour. It all depends on your cottage cheese.
  9. We shift the dough onto the table, sprinkled with flour, and knead. Knead for 5 minutes.
  10. We get a very elastic dough.
  11. Wrap with cling film and refrigerate for about 40 minutes.
  12. The dough is ready! You can make favorite products from it and treat your relatives.
