Fragrant ripe strawberry, airy cream and a sponge cake melting in your mouth - this combination can delight even the most avid gourmet. With a step-by-step recipe, making homemade pastries is not difficult.


  • 250 grams of flour;
  • 6 fresh chicken eggs;
  • 4 tablespoons of cocoa;
  • 360 grams of sugar;
  • 1.5 teaspoons of baking powder.

  • 250 grams of sugar.


  • 100 grams of dark chocolate;
  • 30 grams of butter.

  1. Separate the whites from the yolks. Beat the proteins in a lush foam with a mixer, gradually adding sugar. Continuing to beat, we introduce one yolk into the mixture.
  2. The sifted flour is mixed with baking powder and cocoa powder. Mix.
  3. In small portions, we introduce the flour into the egg mixture, each time thoroughly mixing.
  4. Pour our dough into a split mold covered with parchment. Sent in preheated to 180 degrees for 30-35 minutes. Readiness check with a toothpick or wooden skewer.
  5. The cooled cake is cut into two unequal parts. The lower half is 1.5 centimeters thick.
  6. The upper part of the cake is cut into cubes with a side of 3 centimeters.
  7. For cream: mix high-fat thick sour cream with sugar and beat with a mixer for 5-7 minutes.
  8. We spread the lower part of the biscuit on a dish, grease liberally with sour cream.
  9. We spread strawberries on it (in a circle): washed, peeled and cut into plates. Instead of strawberries, you can use bananas, cherries (or any other berries and fruits), nuts.
  10. Dice the cakes from the cake in a cream and spread on the berries (in one layer). Repeat the layers. We lay out each new layer of cubes in such a way that a hill is formed (you can see this process in more detail in the video under the recipe).
  11. In conclusion: we coat the homemade cake with the remaining cream on all sides and decorate with glaze.
  12. To make it, melt dark chocolate with butter in a water bath (or in the microwave). Then place the icing in a regular plastic bag, pierce a corner of it and apply patterns on the entire surface of the cake (as in the photo).
  13. You can just sprinkle strawberry cake with chocolate chips.
  14. We remove the finished homemade cake in the refrigerator: at least 3 hours to soak.
