Ingredients:

  • 2.5 cups of high fat milk;
  • 180 grams of granulated sugar (approximately 1 cup);
  • 4 egg yolks;
  • vanillin - optional.

For the sauce:

  • 200 grams of strawberries;
  • 5 tablespoons of sugar;
  • dried basil.

  1. We very carefully separate the yolks from the proteins (in any way familiar to you), we do not need proteins for this recipe.
  2. We put the bowls in a bowl, pour sugar (according to the recipe) and beat for 3-4 minutes with a mixer.
  3. We transfer the egg mixture to the pan, pour hot milk and send to the stove.
  4. With constant stirring, bring the mixture to the appearance of the first bubbles.
  5. Immediately remove the pan from the heat, cool the contents at room temperature.
  6. Then we pour the contents of the pan into the container, cover with a lid and send it to the freezer for 3-4 hours.
  7. Every forty minutes we get ice cream from the freezer and mix. Repeat this procedure 3-4 times.
  8. Prepare strawberry sauce for ice cream. Knead 200 grams of fresh strawberries in mashed potatoes (crush).
  9. Add 5 tablespoons of granulated sugar to the strawberry puree and put on the stove.
  10. When the mass boils, remove the foam, add the dried basil (for raisins). Bring to a boil again and remove the pan from the stove.
  11. We filter through a sieve, pour ice-cream with chilled syrup. And also such a sauce can be served with pancakes and pancakes.
