Delicious lemon cake
Today I have a delicious lemon pie for dessert: not a store pie, but cooked at home - almost the same lemon pie as my grandmother’s. I don’t know about you, but I really like homemade pies, especially with a lemon flavor. The taste of such a cake is simply unique, some invigorating. Undoubtedly, this homemade lemon pie is just the right time for tea. And cooking it is very simple: it turns out right lemon biscuit. Therefore, do not waste your time, but go for a notebook to write down a recipe for a lemon pie.
Ingredients:
- lemon zest - 2 tablespoons;
- butter - 150 grams;
- sugar - 200 grams;
- lemon juice - 2 tablespoons;
- flour - 250 grams;
- chicken eggs - 3 pieces;
- baking powder - 2 teaspoons.
Separately for glaze:
- icing sugar - 100-150 grams;
- lemon juice - 50 milliliters.

- I wash and dry one large lemon. Remove the zest from it with a peeler.
- Cut the peeled lemon in half and squeeze the juice out of it.
- Before we prepare the dough for the pie, you should get the butter in advance from the refrigerator to make it soft.
- Beat butter with sugar until a homogeneous white mass.
- Add one egg to the whipped butter. If your chicken eggs are not very large, then take one more: not three, but four.
- Beat eggs with butter and sugar.
- We add lemon juice to the egg mixture, which we squeezed out of the lemon in advance. And once again we beat everything with a mixer.
- Sift the flour before baking and add to the rest of the ingredients. After the flour, pour the baking powder. Beat the dough again.
- Add the grated lemon peel to the ready-made dough: it is it that gives that unique lemon flavor.
- We grease the cake pan with butter and put our dough into it.
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and put in it a baking dish with dough.
- Bake the cake for about 40 minutes.
- We take out the finished cake from the oven and let it stand at room temperature for 15 minutes.
- We shift the pie to the dish. To make it easy to do this, you need to tap the table lightly on the table - and the cake will easily exit the form.
- Now we will make the icing. In the bowl you need to mix lemon juice and powdered sugar.
- While the cake is still warm, cover it with icing. Do not be afraid that the icing is liquid: it absorbs well in the pie.
