The fastest puff pastry

To bake Napoleon, samsa or rolls, you don’t need to spend hours worrying about preparing puff pastry at home or buying a store analog (which is not always of high quality). I have a recipe for you the fastest puff pastry! You’ll have 5-10 minutes to cook it! And a little time for cooling in the refrigerator, for which you can easily prepare delicious toppings and creams. Be sure to write down this simple and quick puff pastry recipe - it will certainly come in handy for you! Better yet, make delicious puff pastries out of it and treat your loved ones!

Ingredients:

  • water - 125 milliliters;
  • flour - 350 grams;
  • oil - 150 grams;
  • yolk - 1 piece;
  • vinegar 9% - 0.5 teaspoon;
  • salt - a teaspoon.

Pie toppings:

  • smoked chicken legs - 1 piece;
  • champignons - 300-350 grams;
  • medium-sized onions - 1 piece;
  • egg - 1 piece;
  • salt, pepper - to taste;
  • vegetable oil for frying;
  • egg for lubrication.

The fastest puff pastry. Step by step recipe

  1. Add salt, vinegar and yolk to cold water. We mix everything well. Vinegar can be replaced with citric acid diluted with water in a ratio of 1:10.
  2. Grate the chilled butter and combine with the sifted flour. Quickly rub your hands to a tiny state. In the recipe, the oil can be replaced with margarine, but with the butter, the pastries are softer.
  3. Pour in the liquid part and knead the elastic dough.
  4. We give the test a rectangular shape with a thickness of 3-4 centimeters (this is to make it convenient later to work with it), wrap it with cling film and send it to the refrigerator for 2 hours.
  5. Sprinkle the working surface with flour and spread the cooled dough. We also lightly sprinkle it with flour and roll it into a 0.5 cm thick rectangle.
  6. We fold the layer three times - we get a long strip. And we also fold this strip threefold - we get a square roll of dough.
  7. Roll this roll of dough into a rectangle 0.5 cm thick. Please note: we roll it out carefully, the rolling pin movements must be parallel, and we do not press the rolling pin very hard on the dough itself (rolled with a rolling pin, the dough was rotated 90 degrees, rolled again, and turned again, and so on to the desired thickness of the formation).
  8. Cut the puff pastry into squares with an approximate size of 7x7 centimeters.
  9. Everything is ready - you can sculpt pies! Please note that the filling must be prepared in advance and cool.
  10. To prepare the filling of smoked meat: remove the skin from the chicken legs, separate the meat from the bone, cut into small cubes (approximately 0.5 cm thick).
  11. Step-by-step preparation of mushroom filling: saute mushrooms with onions over medium heat until the liquid from the pan evaporates. Salt and season with pepper to your liking.
  12. Boil the egg hard-boiled (from the moment of boiling, cook for 10 minutes).
  13. We combine the egg and the fried mushrooms and beat with a blender until a paste-like mass. If you do not have a blender, then the mass can be twisted into a meat grinder (preferably 2 times, so that it turns out more tender).
  14. We cook pies in the form of samsa with smoked meat: put 1 teaspoon of smoked chicken meat filling on the center of the dough square, fold the square diagonally and press the edges with a fork.
  15. We will make pies with mushroom filling in the form of a rose. To do this, we make cuts on the test square in the form of a triangle: on one side of the square we make cuts at two angles (cutting from under 45 degrees), and on the other hand, from the middle of the edge towards the center. The cuts themselves should be approximately 3 centimeters (there should be a place in the center for laying out the filling).
  16. We spread the filling on the center, take 2 oblique (notched) edges of the dough and glue them, as if wrapping the filling. By this principle, we glue the following notched parts of the box. The corners of the dough are straightened out, giving a beautiful shape of a rose.
  17. Put the prepared pies on a baking sheet. Shake the egg lightly and grease the pastries with it.
  18. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees and bake pies for 20-25 minutes at an average level in the oven.

The puff pastry pies turned out to be just amazing, really like real samsa! This puff pastry can be used to make Napoleon cake, rolls with various fillings.
