Who doesn’t like the Napoleon cake, but I, like many housewives, know firsthand that messing with cakes is the most difficult thing, so I want to make life easier in the kitchen, my dears, and share the recipe for an incredibly delicious and beloved “ Napoleon ", for which we cook cakes in a pan.

Ingredients:

Dough:

  • butter - 200 grams;
  • milk - 1.5 cups;
  • egg - 2 pieces;
  • sugar sand - 1 cup;
  • refined sunflower oil - 1 tablespoon;
  • soda - 0.5 teaspoon, slaked with vinegar;
  • a pinch of salt;
  • flour approximately - 1700-2000 grams.

For cream:

  • milk - 2 glasses;
  • egg - 4 pieces;
  • butter - 600 grams;
  • sugar - 1.5 cups;
  • can of condensed milk;
  • vanilla to taste.

Napoleon cake in the pan. Step by step recipe

  1. First of all, prepare the dough for shortcakes: mash the eggs with sugar, then add the butter (which should be removed beforehand, the butter should be soft, not from the refrigerator) and mash again. Then add the soda, slaked with vinegar, sunflower oil, milk at the very end, mix.
  2. Pour the flour in stages, bringing the dough to the required consistency. The dough should turn out pretty soft, but not stick to your hands.
  3. Divide the dough into 22-24 pieces, roll balls out of them (the amount depends on the diameter of your pan). Remove the balls from the dough refrigerator literally for 5-7 minutes.
  4. Using a rolling pin, roll the dough into a round cake and fry in a pan without adding oil, covering it with a lid.
  5. Put cakes on a dry surface with a little sprinkle of water and cover with a towel. This is necessary so that the cakes do not dry out.
  6. Prepare the cream: beat the eggs at room temperature with a sugar mixer, bringing the consistency to a lush foam.
  7. In a separate saucepan, boil the milk, reduce the heat and carefully gently stir in the egg mixture. Cook until the eggs dissolve.
  8. Cool the resulting mass, add softened butter to double the mixture, and only then add condensed milk and vanilla.
  9. Smear the cooled cakes with cream, decorate with nuts as desired or sprinkle with scraps from the cakes.
