Orange buns

My grandmother taught me how to make amazing orange-flavored buns. And today I would like to share this wonderful recipe with you. Buns according to this recipe are airy and fragrant. In general, you lick your fingers. Believe me, these buns will not leave anyone indifferent.

Ingredients:

  • salt - a pinch;
  • eggs - 1 piece;
  • flour - 300 grams;
  • water - half a glass;
  • fresh yeast - 10 grams;
  • butter - 40 grams;
  • orange - 1 piece;
  • sugar - 3 tablespoons;
  • powdered sugar - 2 tablespoons.

Orange Buns. Step by step recipe

  1. So, let's start cooking our orange buns. To get started, take a deep plate and pour warm water there.
  2. There we send fresh yeast and pre-melted butter. We need only 20 grams of oil at this stage.
  3. Cut the orange in half, from one half to three peels of orange on a fine grater. Then add to the plate to the ingredients.
  4. Then pour 1 spoonful of sugar, salt and an egg. Squeeze 2 tablespoons of juice from an orange and pour into a plate. We mix everything.
  5. Pour the flour. Mix.
  6. We remove the dough so that it fits.
  7. When our dough comes up, roll it into a rectangle.
  8. In a plate, mix the remaining 20 grams of melted butter, 2 tablespoons of orange juice and the zest of half an orange. Mix.
  9. Grease the dough with the resulting mixture. Then sprinkle with two tablespoons of sugar.
  10. Roll the dough and cut into 12 equal parts. We spread on a baking sheet pre-oiled. Spread standing.
  11. Cook at a temperature of 180 degrees in a preheated oven for 25 minutes.
