Orange pie

Each of us, sooner or later, wants to pamper our beloved family with something delicious. And when it takes a minimum of time and cost, it’s doubly pleasant. Orange cake is not too sweet, with a citrus flavor. The taste is incredible!

Ingredients:

  • orange - 1 piece;
  • powdered sugar - 1 tablespoon;
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon;
  • 2 teaspoons of baking powder;
  • 1 cup and ¾ cup flour;
  • 4 eggs;
  • 1 cup of sugar;
  • 200 grams of butter.

Orange pie. Step by step recipe

  1. To squeeze an orange peel - to crumble with an average grater. And cut the citrus into thin circles.
  2. Pound the softened butter with snow-white sugar. Combine with zest and egg mixture.
  3. Sift the flour through a sieve, add baking powder. Pour into the oil mixture - in small portions, stirring constantly.
  4. Place the dough in the mold and distribute evenly. Lay out the circles of orange on top and squeeze a little.
  5. Bake for 30 minutes. at 180 degrees.

Cool the finished orange pie. Slice and sprinkle with powder mixed with cinnamon. The cake is quick to prepare, you will spend no more than an hour, and fragrant pastries on your table.
