In the home recipe that I offer you, you can use a mixture of candied fruits, thanks to different shades, baking will be brighter and prettier. You can take any nuts, for example, walnuts, almonds or peanuts, as you like. Nuts mainly affect the flavor of cookies, and of course, their taste. Cookies remain fresh and crumbly for a long time, only it needs to be stored in a dry room. But, as a rule, such baking diverges very quickly, so you can’t even store it. Ingredients for Cooking Shortbread Cookies

Butter (Margarine) 125 g
Sugar 150 g
Egg yolks 2 pcs
Flour 225 g
Vanillin taste
Candied fruit 100 g
Raisins 50 g
Almond 30 g

Step-by-step cooking of shortbread cookies with candied fruits with a photo

  1. Beat softened butter to room temperature with sugar. If you don’t like very sweet pastries, reduce the amount of sugar, as raisins and candied fruits will also give their sweetness to cookies.
  2. Add 2 yolks to the dough and beat until smooth.
  3. Pour only half the flour, mix, the rest of the flour should be mixed with the filling.
  4. Chop the nuts finely. Walnuts can be crushed with a rolling pin.
  5. Combine the candied nuts.
  6. Pour nuts, candied fruits, raisins and vanilla into the rest of the flour. Shuffle. Due to this, the filling is evenly distributed in the dough.
  7. Now combine the dry ingredients with the liquid, knead the thick dough. Roll a sausage with a diameter of about 4-5 cm from the dough.
  8. Wrap the sausage from the dough in a cling film and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  9. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Remove the film from the cooled dough and use a sharp knife to cut circles 1 cm thick.
  10. Cover the baking sheet with parchment and place the cookies at some distance from each other.
  11. Bake cookies for about 15 minutes. Still hot, remove the cookies from the pan and place on the wire rack to cool.
  12. A beautiful, bright cookie is ready!
