Sweet Apple Strudel with Cinnamon

Golden autumn - time for juicy and sweet apples. And what could be better than combining them with a thin sheet of dough and cinnamon? Apple strudel is the perfect fall dessert.

Ingredients:

  • puff pastry - 500 grams;
  • apples of any grade - 800 grams;
  • sugar (ideally brown) - 100 grams;
  • cinnamon - 2 teaspoons;
  • almonds - 100 grams;
  • raisins - 50 grams;
  • butter - 50 grams;
  • 1 egg

Fragrant apple strudel with cinnamon. Step by step recipe

  1. Peel the apples from the peel and cores, cut into even slices.
  2. Soak raisins first. Chop the almonds and fry a little in a pan.
  3. Melt butter in a pan, add apples, sugar, cinnamon, chopped almonds and raisins. Strain the mixture until the apples are soft.
  4. Roll the dough thin enough. Put the filling in the middle. Wrap the dough on the principle of roll, be sure to seal the edges.
  5. Cover the baking dish with parchment paper and place the apple strudel there. Make small cuts on top of the pie and brush with a pre-beaten egg. Send the cake to the oven for 20-30 minutes (temperature 180 C).
