You will also like this recipe: the dough is prepared very quickly, and the “Bunnies” buns retain their freshness for a long time. Cottage cheese rolls are the perfect pastry for breakfast: serve them with cocoa, tea or coffee.

Ingredients:

  • 0.5 kilograms of cottage cheese;
  • 200 grams of granulated sugar;
  • 200 milliliters of vegetable oil;
  • 30 grams of baking powder for dough;
  • 2 fresh chicken eggs;
  • 10 grams of vanilla sugar;
  • 600-800 grams of wheat flour;
  • 0.3 teaspoon of salt.

For greasing buns: one chicken egg and a couple of tablespoons of milk.

The best buns "Bunnies." Step by step recipe

  1. Put the cottage cheese in a deep bowl (I have homemade, tender and soft, but you can use any other), grind with a fork.
  2. Sugar, vanilla sugar, baking powder, fresh chicken eggs, salt are added to the curd. Mix the whole mass well with a spatula.
  3. Pour refined vegetable oil into the curd, mix again.
  4. Sift the flour and add it to the bowl with cottage cheese, knead the dough.
  5. Flour can go as much as by prescription, and less. It all depends on the curd and the quality of the flour itself.
  6. Focus on the fact that you should get a soft elastic dough that does not stick to your hands.
  7. We collect the dough from the cottage cheese in a bowl, put it in a bag and put it in the refrigerator (for 30-60 minutes).
  8. After this time, we take out the dough, divide it into identical pieces (I got 22 of them), form buns.
  9. We cover the baking sheet with parchment paper, which we lubricate with vegetable oil.
  10. Take a piece of dough, roll it into a flagellum (flagellum length - two palms).
  11. We make two barrels on the flagellum: one is smaller, the other is larger (head and ears of a bunny).
  12. We turn the long part (body) with a donut and pinch. We put our head on the body, correct.
  13. We cut the ears with scissors into two parts.

  15. We lay the rabbits on a baking sheet, leaving a larger distance: the buns will increase in size well.
  16. In a bowl, mix the egg with a small amount of milk, shake with a fork. Lubricate our buns with the resulting mixture.
  17. We send the baking sheet with buns to the oven, heated to 200 degrees, for 20-25 minutes.
  18. We take out the buns, let it cool and begin to paint.
  19. We draw a pattern on the ears, antennae and cilia with melted chocolate.
