The cake is easy to prepare, the ingredients are not complicated, and the result is simply awesome.   • 75 grams of honey;
  • 2 chicken eggs;
  • 50 grams of butter;
  • 10 grams of soda;
  • 175 grams of sugar;
  • 275 grams of flour;
  • 10 milliliters of lemon juice;
  • 20 grams of cocoa powder;
  • a pinch of salt.


  • 150 grams of cream with a fat content of 30%;
  • 300 grams of sour cream 30% fat;
  • powdered sugar to taste (approximately 140 grams).

  1. To begin with, about fifteen minutes, in a water bath you need to melt honey, sugar and butter, mix until smooth.
  2. Remove the homogeneous mixture from the water bath, cool and add the eggs one at a time, mixing everything with a whisk.
  3. Next, the soda should be quenched with lemon juice, mixed and added to a bowl to a homogeneous mass.
  4. Then add the sifted flour with cocoa and salt, mix everything thoroughly. The resulting dough needs to be cooled to room temperature.
  5. On parchment paper, you need to roll out the dough so that it does not stick to your hands: you can sprinkle them with flour. The dough is similar in texture to soft plasticine.
  6. The dough needs to be rolled thinly using a rolling pin, and so that it does not stick, sprinkle a little rolling pin with flour.
  7. Thinly rolled dough we put on a baking sheet, often pierce it with a fork and send to the oven preheated to 180 degrees for five minutes.
  8. We take out the cake from the oven and, using a square shape, cut out four cake layers, carefully removing parchment paper.
  9. Thinly roll out the dough again, bake, and cut two more cakes. In total for the cake you need six cakes.
  10. The cuttings from the cakes will be used for decoration: they need to be folded onto a baking sheet and dried for a couple of minutes in an oven preheated to 150 degrees.
  11. Prepare the cream. Sour cream with powdered sugar should be beaten with a mixer or kitchen machine at high speed until creamy. Separately, whip the cream to stable peaks, and then combine two homogeneous masses, mixing everything thoroughly with a spatula.
  12. We put the finished cream in a pastry bag.
  13. We proceed to the formation of the cake. Put the first cake on the bottom of the mold and add the cream (the cream layer is 0.5 centimeters thick), cover with cake on top. Thus, we form all six cakes, the upper cakes are also lubricated with cream.
  14. Cover the formed cake with cling film and refrigerate: for at least four hours.
  15. We take the cake out of the refrigerator, carefully remove it from the mold. From the dried cake residues we make small crumbs and decorate with it the top and sides of the cake.
