Chicken legs in marinade

I recalled the 90s, when many different dishes were prepared from the legs, and decided to make chicken legs for marinade for dinner. Of course, the legs are not the same - much better, and the marinade sauce is much tastier and more original, but the memories of youth pleasantly warm the soul. Chicken legs in such a sauce are very tender and extremely tasty. Meat baked in the oven can be served on the table with any side dish or vegetable salad - a wonderful dinner will be appreciated by all relatives.

Ingredients:

  • 4 large chicken legs;
  • 1-2 onion heads;
  • 200 milliliters of grape vinegar;
  • 80 milliliters of water;
  • 120 grams of sugar;
  • hot peppers - to taste;
  • ground black pepper, salt to taste.

Chicken legs in a marinade. Step by step recipe

  1. Two heads of onions are cleaned, washed and cut into thin half rings.
  2. Hot peppers (we take to taste) finely chopped.
  3. Pour water, vinegar and put into a pan on a fire.
  4. Immediately send the chopped onion and hot pepper to the pan.
  5. Bring the contents of the pan to a boil, add sugar (according to the recipe) to the marinade. Mix well and bring to a boil again.
  6. After the marinade boils again, turn off the heat and cool the contents of the pan.
  7. My chicken legs, dry with paper towels, rub with salt and black pepper.
  8. We prepare the prepared legs in a deep baking sheet or heat-resistant baking dish, fill with a cooled marinade.
  9. Optionally, add one hundred grams of bell pepper sauce to the marinade and mix.
  10. In a preheated oven to 200 degrees, put a baking sheet with legs under the marinade. We will bake for 30-40 minutes.

I’ll tell you how to make bell pepper sauce.

  • We clear one kilogram of bell pepper from seeds and cut.
  • We clean one hundred grams of garlic.
  • In one chilli pepper we remove the stalk, leave the seeds.
  • We pass all the products through a meat grinder using a fine wire rack.
  • In the mixture add 2 teaspoons of salt, 2 tablespoons of 6% vinegar, mix.
  • Ready sauce can be stored in the refrigerator, in a closed jar.

Ready chicken legs, like my grandmother, put on a dish with the sauce in which they were baked. We serve rice, mashed potatoes, vegetable garnish - or any other side dish, to your taste. You can see the side dishes recipes on our site “Very tasty”.
