Ingredients:

  • finished dough yufka - one pack;
  • yogurt (without any additives) - 350 grams;
  • salt - to your liking;
  • garlic - 3-4 cloves;
  • ground beef - 700 grams;
  • onions (medium size) - 2 pieces;
  • red bell pepper - 1 piece;
  • green pepper - 3 pieces;
  • tomato - 1 piece;
  • one tablespoon of tomato paste;
  • parsley - one bunch;
  • ground black pepper - a pinch (or to your liking);
  • water - 150-200 milliliters;
  • ground paprika - a pinch;
  • vegetable oil (500-600 grams) - for frying cigars.

Delicious oriental lunch. Step by step recipe

  1. In this recipe, I propose to cook Turkish rolls cigar berek from a ready-made yufc pastry dough. This greatly simplifies the process of preparing an oriental dinner, and saves time.
  2. So, we take the dough out of the package in advance and give it a little rest. Then cut the thinnest sheets of dough into triangles.
  3. We twist each triangle into a roll, starting from the base of the triangle: the so-called cigars are obtained.
  4. So that the cigars do not unwind, you need to dip the tip of the test into water and glue it to the body of the cigar.
  5. So do with the whole test.
  6. Then we put a deep frying pan on the fire and send ground beef into it. In my case, the minced meat is oily, so I do not add vegetable oil to the pan. And if the minced meat is absolutely not greasy, then a little vegetable oil should be added to the pan.
  7. Fry the minced meat until half cooked.
  8. Peel the onion and cut into cubes.
  9. Red and green peppers wash well, remove the seeds, and also cut into small cubes.
  10. We pour one ripe medium-sized tomato with boiling water, remove the skin from it and cut into cubes.
  11. Finely chop the parsley with a knife.
  12. Add chopped onions to the pan, mix well.
  13. After a minute, add chopped pepper and continue to fry, with occasional stirring.
  14. Then add the tomato and cook another couple of minutes.
  15. Add tomato paste, a pinch of black pepper and paprika, salt to your taste and mix well.
  16. Pour a glass of water (about 150-200 milliliters) into a pan with minced meat and cook until all vegetables and meat are completely cooked. It takes about 5 to 7 minutes. It is not necessary to cover the pan with a lid.
  17. At the end of frying, add chopped parsley, mix and remove the pan from the heat.
  18. Now we are going to make cigar cakes.
  19. Pour a large amount of vegetable oil into a small saucepan. We put the pan on the fire and heat it well.
  20. In portions of boiling oil, we send our cigar cakes and evenly fry them until golden brown. Stir occasionally with a spoon.
  21. We cover the tray in two layers with a paper kitchen towel and lay the finished cigars on top of it. For each serving of cigars we cover a new paper towel.
  22. Now prepare the white garlic sauce.
  23. Dense natural yogurt to your taste and add garlic cloves grated on a fine grater. Mix well. The sauce for a delicious snack is ready. The sharpness of the sauce can be controlled by the amount of garlic added.
  24. Now that all the cooking steps are completed, we begin to collect a very delicious oriental dinner.
  25. The form of serving depends on your preferences and imagination, and I suggest doing this: in the middle of a large serving dish we spread the meat filling, around it is white garlic sauce, and we lay the cigars on the banks in a circle, like the rays of the sun.
  26. We serve to the table.
