  1. You can start preparing manti with both dough and filling: there will be no difference. Today I want to start by making the dough.
  2. Take the sifted flour: exactly as much as indicated in the recipe. In the middle we make a hole in which we drive in the eggs, pour salt. Now gradually pour the water into the flour (in small portions) and knead the dough: it should not be liquid, but it should not be completely cool. Ideally, our dough should be elastic. We remove it under the lid and let it stand for as long as we will make the filling.
  3. We try to clean the meat from the films and cut into small pieces. Try to keep them the same size.
  4. Peel the potatoes and also cut into small cubes.
  5. We do not cut onions in large strips.
  6. Salted future stuffing, pepper. Spice lovers can add whatever they like to it. I stop on pepper and salt. All we have to do is just mix it up. Stir thoroughly so that the onions and potatoes are evenly distributed in the meat. If the meat is dry, then you can add a little water to the filling.
  7. We take out the dough and immediately cook two large round plates. Sprinkle them with a little flour. In the same way, sprinkle with flour the surface of the table on which we will mold manti.
  8. We twist the dough into a large sausage. Divide our sausage into four equal parts, each piece of dough properly roll in flour from all sides, slightly crushing. We should get large cakes.
  9. We roll out each cake with a rolling pin. The dough should not be thin, even vice versa: a little thicker than dumplings.
  10. Lubricate the cake with sunflower oil. We spread the filling on it. Do not spare it: on average, one tablespoon of this will take you two tablespoons of the filling with a slide. Spread it evenly throughout the cake.
  11. It remains for us to connect the opposite ends of the tortillas and make a large pie. We spread it in a mantovar, which we also lubricate with sunflower oil.
  12. Pour water into the mantle bowl and wait for it to boil. We put saucepans with manty on top and steam them for an hour.
