Lazy Dumplings with Pumpkin

I like to cook tasty and healthy dishes, especially for my baby. And here I can’t miss the chance to talk about excellent lazy pumpkin dumplings. Many kids hate cottage cheese and pumpkin, but not in these dumplings! They will be delighted with this dish, and you from the fact that they fed them very healthy food.

Ingredients:

  • pumpkin - 250 grams;
  • cottage cheese - 250 grams;
  • flour - 1 cup (you can make a mixture of flour and semolina in equal proportions);
  • sugar - 1-2 tablespoons;
  • chicken egg - 1 piece;
  • salt - on the tip of a knife.

  1. Wash the pumpkin, peel, cut into small pieces (2x2 cm) and boil in a small amount of water.
  2. Drain the water, beat the finished pumpkin with a blender and cool.
  3. Rub the cottage cheese through a sieve or using a blender.
  4. Beat eggs with sugar until foam, add cottage cheese, pumpkin, salt and mix.
  5. Gradually introduce the flour and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous consistency. If you get a liquid dough, then add flour, but do not overdo it! From the test should be able to roll sausage. But do not rush right away!
  6. Leave the finished dough to rest for 15-20 minutes in the refrigerator, after covering it with a towel or putting in a bag.
  7. Roll sausages from the dough and cut into portioned slices, roll each slice in flour and toss into boiling water.
  8. Cook over medium heat until floating, and then a couple of minutes until cooked. Please note that the water should not boil violently so as not to break the koloboks.
