Lazy dumplings

I love dumplings, but I don’t like to cook them, so I discovered a recipe for lazy dumplings for a very long time. It turns out tasty - beyond words, but most importantly - how fast! And when she once filed for the holiday, everyone was surprised. They thought, wondered how I prepared such an original creation. And everything is very simple, see for yourself.

Ingredients:

  • water - 1 cup;
  • flour - 2 glasses;
  • egg - 1 piece;
  • salt;
  • soda;
  • minced meat (pork, beef) - 500 grams;
  • onion - 1 piece;
  • salt and pepper to taste.

Lazy Dumplings. Step by step recipe

  1. First, knead the dough. Sift flour into a bowl, make a small deepening in the center, pour eggs into it.
  2. Dissolve salt and soda in water (literally a pinch of soda), and also pour into the depression from the flour.
  3. Mix gently clockwise. Then knead the dough by hand, adding flour if necessary. When the dough does not stick to your hands and becomes elastic, set it aside for 10 minutes to the side, covering it with a towel.
  4. Prepare the minced meat, if you have a whole piece of meat, then chop it in a meat grinder. Grate the onion and add to the minced meat, salt and pepper.
  5. Roll the dough thinly, like dumplings, and cut into rectangles. Put the minced meat in a thin layer, give the shape of a roll, close up the edges well, cut into portions of dumplings. Pinch the bottom of the dumpling, giving the shape of a rosette.
  6. In boiling, salted water, send dumplings, mix with a slotted spoon. When the dumplings pop up, cook them for another 4 minutes.
