Original meat aspic

Here I propose to make such a creative from ordinary meat aspic. I cooked from turkey neck, and you can use any other meat. Serve on the table in an original and beautiful way. If you wanted to surprise and show creativity, I propose to prepare a miracle of aspic!

Ingredients:

  • turkey neck - 1 piece;
  • chicken leg - 2 pieces;
  • onion - 2 pieces;
  • carrots - 2-3 pieces;
  • salt, bay leaf, peppercorns;
  • gelatin - 1 pack.

Meat aspic. Step by step recipe

  1. Chop the neck into small pieces of 7-10 centimeters, leave the ham whole, soak in cold water for 2-3 hours, ideally overnight.
  2. Fold in a saucepan, pour water, put on fire, as soon as it begins to boil, immediately drain.
  3. Peel the carrots and onions, leave whole. If a large carrot, then you can cut it several times.
  4. Pour meat and vegetables with new water, bring to a boil, reduce heat to a minimum and simmer for 2.5-3 hours - so that the bones give their gelatin to the maximum and the broth remains transparent.
  5. Half an hour before turning off add salt, bay leaf, pepper.
  6. Before removing from heat, the meat should easily lag behind the bone.
  7. Cook chicken legs along with the main jelly, but not all the time, otherwise they will creep. Check that they are ready and take out.
  8. You can also lightly roast the legs for a greater blush.
  9. Remove the aspic from the fire, leave to cool.
  10. Separate the meat from the bones, put it in a form for hardening, put chicken legs on top.
  11. Soak gelatin for swelling, pour warm broth, put in a water bath until completely dissolved.
  12. Add liquid gelatin to the broth, stir, pour meat. Add gelatin, if necessary, if you have enough rich broth for solidification, then you can without gelatin.
  13. From boiled carrots, cut the scallop and beak, decorate the legs. We make the eyes of our males out of pepper peas.
  14. We put the jelly in the refrigerator until it solidifies.
