Pancake pie with meat and mushrooms

How to diversify pancakes? How to breathe new life into a recipe familiar to everyone? I pondered these questions the next Saturday morning. It was decided to make a pancake pie with meat and mushrooms. The process is almost the same: bake pancakes, make the filling, put everything into a pie. Together with "Very tasty" I offer my recipe for pancake cake. You have not tried it yet!

Ingredients:

For pancakes:

  • kefir - 250 milliliters;
  • eggs - 2 pieces;
  • flour - 200 grams;
  • milk - 250 milliliters;
  • sugar - 1 tablespoon;
  • vegetable oil - 50 milliliters;
  • salt - a pinch;
  • soda - ½ teaspoon.

For filling:

  • boiled chicken - 300 grams;
  • champignons - 200 grams;
  • onion - 2 pieces;
  • salt, pepper - to taste.

For the sauce:

  • sour cream - 5 tablespoon;
  • eggs - 1 piece.

Pancake pie. Step by step recipe

  1. To start, let's do pancakes. In kefir, you need to dissolve the soda and wait a bit, then pour the milk. Beat eggs with sugar and salt. Mix the eggs with the milk mixture. Pour the flour in portions and stir until all the lumps are dissolved. At the end, pour the vegetable oil. In a preheated pan, without oil, fry thin pancakes.
  2. Let's start preparing the filling. Cut the onion into small cubes, do the same with mushrooms. Fry onions and mushrooms. Finely chop the boiled chicken or kill in a blender. Mix mushrooms with meat, salt and pepper.
  3. We make rolls, in each pancake we wrap the filling. We make as many rolls as fit in the baking dish.
  4. Lightly beat the egg and add sour cream, salt a little, pepper - the sauce is ready.
  5. We cover the form with pancakes, so that the edges of the pancakes protrude beyond the shape, then we will cover them with a pie. Spread our rolls tightly, coat each layer with sauce. Cover the pie with the edges of the pancakes.
  6. If there are still pancakes, you can make a decor. Cut two pancakes into strips of 1 cm. From these strips on the cake we make a beautiful wicker. Top all over again with sauce.
  7. Place the cake in the oven, preheated to 180 degrees. Keep approximately 25-30 minutes until golden brown.

Cool the cake a little, remove from the mold, cut into portioned portions and serve with sour cream. It is better to eat the pie immediately, so as not to heat it later. But you still have to try hard so as not to eat such yummy right away. "Very tasty" wishes you bon appetit!
