Rice meatballs with mushrooms

A terrific meal for lunch - rice cutlets with mushrooms. Incredibly tasty, delicate, tempting appetizing meatballs with mushroom filling are prepared very simply and quickly. Ingredients:

  • mushrooms (champignons) - 300 grams;
  • onions - 1 piece;
  • cream (10%) - 100 milliliters (or 40 grams of butter);
  • rice - 150 grams;
  • chicken egg - 1 piece;
  • wheat flour - 2 tablespoons;
  • ground black pepper;
  • salt;
  • breadcrumbs;
  • mushroom seasoning;
  • sunflower oil for frying.

Rice cutlets with mushrooms. Step by step recipe

  1. We clear one onion from the husk, wash it and cut it into small cubes with a knife.
  2. For cooking incredibly tasty meatballs with mushrooms, we need 300 grams of mushrooms. Cut the mushrooms for the filling into small cubes.
  3. Tip: I used champignons for the filling, but you can use any mushrooms.
  4. Pour some vegetable oil into the pan and send to the stove to warm up.
  5. We shift the pre-chopped onions into the pan.
  6. Then we send the chopped mushrooms to the pan to the onion, mix everything well and fry until all the moisture has evaporated.
  7. As soon as all the moisture has evaporated, add the cream, mushroom spice, black pepper, and mix well. I do not add salt to the mushroom filling, because I use mushroom spice, and it already contains salt.
  8. Tip: cream can be replaced with butter. For this amount of ingredients, we need 40 grams of oil.
  9. Fry the mushroom filling until fully cooked, and then remove from the stove.
  10. We transfer the filling of mushrooms into a separate container.
  11. Boil rice (according to the recipe) until fully cooked, and then rinse well.
  12. We transfer the boiled rice porridge into a separate container.
  13. We send one chicken egg, two tablespoons of wheat flour to the container for rice, and mix everything well. The dough for rice cutlets is ready.
  14. We take a little rice dough, form it in the form of a cake, put the filling in the middle and pinch the edges well (thus forming a cutlet).
  15. Roll rice cakes with mushroom filling in breadcrumbs.
  16. Fry cutlets in vegetable oil from two sides until golden brown.
