For the first time, I managed to try a delicious pork tongue with mushrooms in sour cream on my next trip to Western Ukraine. I tell you, it is difficult to convey the incredible aroma of this dish and the creaminess of sour cream sauce, but I know one thing for sure: everyone should try this. Delicate boiled tongue, fragrant porcini mushrooms, sour cream ... Oh, I can’t calmly describe this recipe, everything inside freezes. Let’s better. I’ll tell you how to cook pork tongue tasty and quickly (excluding cooking).
- pork tongue - 800 grams;
- porcini mushrooms - 300 grams;
- about 10 grams of dried mushrooms;
- onion - 3 pieces;
- vegetable oil - 50 grams;
- sour cream - 200 grams;
- flour - 1-2 tablespoons;
- salt pepper.

- I want to say right away that it is best to soak dry mushrooms at night, and cook them in the morning. Boil the mushrooms in the same water where they soaked for 1.5 hours.
- Wash the pork tongue, fill it with water and cook until soft. On average, the language is boiled for 1.5-2 hours. Only salt after an hour of cooking.
- Once the tongue is boiled, fill it with cold water for several minutes. Then remove the skin.
- Cut the tongue into slices of 2-3 centimeters.
- Peel and finely chop the onion, fry in vegetable oil.
- Coarsely chop the mushrooms and simmer for 15 minutes in a pan with the addition of vegetable oil.
- Slice dry boiled mushrooms and add to the mushrooms in a pan, pour the liquid in which the mushrooms were boiled.
- Add onions to mushrooms and simmer together for another 8-10 minutes.
- Put the tongue with mushrooms in a saucepan.
- Mix sour cream with flour and add it to the tongue and mushrooms. Salt, pepper.
- Stew everything for 15 minutes.
Serve stewed tongue can be both hot and cold, with a white bread. But be careful - it is so delicious that it is impossible to refuse the supplement.
