  1. To cook mackerel according to this recipe, I used freshly frozen fish. But it’s even better to use fresh mackerel.
  2. Defrost one freshly frozen mackerel at room temperature.
  3. Then we take out the insides from the fish, cut out the gills, thoroughly rinse and dry it with disposable paper towels.
  4. Tip: do not cut off the head and fins of the fish.
  5. Rub the prepared mackerel with salt, black pepper and spices for fish. Leave the mackerel to marinate a little.

  7. Onions (I used large onions, but if you have medium onions, take three pieces), peel, wash and cut into thin half rings.
  8. Pour a little vegetable oil into the pan, shift the onions there and send to the stove. Fry onions until soft.
