The most delicious liver in Turkish. Step by step recipe

  1. The very first thing we have to do is prepare the potatoes. It must be washed and peeled. Then cut into small cubes and transfer to a bowl.
  2. Take a deep frying pan. Pour in sunflower oil: about 300 grams. We put it on the stove and heat it over medium heat. The chopped potatoes are sent to the heated vegetable oil. Fry from all sides until fully cooked. We should get a potato rosy, with a golden crust. Potatoes do not need to be seasoned with anything, and we will salt it a little later.
  3. Then, using the slotted spoon, we remove the finished fried potatoes in a separate bowl. We do not pour vegetable oil, we will fry the chicken liver in breading on it.
  4. Cooking breading. In a slightly deep bowl, pour the flour and half a teaspoon of salt. Mix everything so that the salt is more or less evenly distributed.
  5. Chicken liver should be washed under running water, remove connective tissue and, if necessary, cut off all unnecessary. If the pieces of the liver are large, you can also cut into two parts. See that they are all more or less the same.
  6. After that, lay the liver in a colander and leave for a while, so that the glass is excess fluid. Then, each piece of the liver must be rolled in flour (breaded). Just do not bread the whole liver at once, do it in small portions.
  7. Fry it in the same oil in which our potatoes were fried. Remember that chicken liver does not need much time to reach readiness. Depending on the size of the piece, it will take you 2-3 minutes on each side.
  8. After the first portion of the liver is prepared, transfer it to a separate bowl and begin to fry the next. And so on until the very last piece of the liver.
  9. At the end of this process, we carefully filter the remaining sunflower oil through a sieve or gauze. And return it to the pan back.
  10. Now let's move on to the preparation of sweet pepper (Bulgarian). Of course, wash it. We make a not very deep incision around the cap of pepper and pull the inner part where all the seeds are located by the spine. Then we transfer it to a cutting board and cut into medium cubes.
  11. Heat the pan and fry the pepper until cooked. Also transfer to a separate bowl.
  12. Also prepare onions. We cut it with the most ordinary half rings.
  13. Wash a bunch of fresh dill under running water, shake off excess fluid and pat it on a paper towel. Then chop finely and transfer to a separate bowl.
  14. Now we need to choose a wide dish in which all prepared ingredients should fit.
  15. Let's start with the chicken liver. We spread it in the center, along the entire dish.
  16. Spread the fried potatoes around the liver. Spread the whole potato evenly.
  17. Now take prepared spices: salt, red pepper and black и teaspoon each. Sprinkle fried potatoes with liver.
  18. Then spread on the liver, distributing throughout the dish, dill.
  19. On top of it lay the fried sweet pepper and on top of the pepper - half rings of onions. The dish is ready to serve.
