Candied fruits from cherry - you will lick your fingers!

Delicious candied cherries are a healthy sweet for everyone. It is difficult to meet a person who would not like sweets, and even then most likely from his "worthlessness." I want to tell you how to make candied cherries at home, from which everyone will be delighted, and even little sick guys, will be happy to absorb these sweets.

Ingredients:

  • Cherry - 1 kilogram;
  • Sugar - 1.2 kilograms;
  • Water - 1 cup.

Step by step recipe for candied cherries

  1. Wash large cherries of a dark color with cold water, dry, remove the stalks and seeds, place in an enameled basin.
  2. Prepare syrup from water and sugar, boil. Pour the cherries with hot syrup and leave for 5-6 hours.
  3. After aging, boil cherries on low heat for 15 minutes, remove the dishes from the heat and leave for 5-6 hours.
  4. For the third time, boil the cherries until cooked, put them in a colander, leave for 1-1.5 hours to make the syrup stack.
  5. Roll the cooled cherries in fine sugar, put on a sieve in one layer and dry at room temperature for 5-6 days or in the oven at a temperature of 35-40 ° C for 10-12 hours.
  6. Place the candied fruit in clean, dry jars, cover with parchment paper, tie, and store in a cool, dry place. Approximately a liter of candied fruit is obtained.

Ready-made candied cherries are placed in jars of each type separately, but you can mix them to get an unsurpassed tasty mixture of candied berries. To prevent candied fruits from being moistened during storage, it is better to seal them tightly or tie them with parchment paper.
