Ingredients:

  • 300 grams of peeled squid;
  • 500 grams of fresh champignons;
  • 200 grams of hard cheese;
  • one glass of walnuts;
  • 200 grams of mayonnaise;
  • clove of garlic;
  • salt, bay leaf, peppercorns - for cooking squid.

  1. Squids are best taken fresh (peeled), but if you have frozen, you must first thaw them.
  2. Pour water into the pan, salt to taste, put bay leaf and peppercorns.
  3. When the water boils, lower the squid into it. Let it boil for one minute and take it out with a slotted spoon in a plate, cool.
  4. In a second pan, cook fresh whole mushrooms in salt water (do not take too large): about 5-7 minutes. We also take them out with a slotted spoon in another bowl, let cool.
  5. Mushrooms are cut into strips, and squid - into thin rings (or you can cut into strips, like mushrooms).
  6. Hard cheese cut into small cubes.
  7. Wrap walnuts in paper and chop with a rolling pin, but not too finely. Part of the chopped walnuts is left to decorate the finished dish.
  8. We will fill the salad with mayonnaise: for this, mayonnaise (it is better to use homemade: you can see its recipe on the site “Very tasty”), combine with a slice of garlic chopped in any way, mix well.
  9. We put all the prepared products in a deep bowl, season with garlic mayonnaise. Mix thoroughly.
  10. We spread the squid salad on a beautiful dish (I have a square one), sprinkle with chopped walnuts. Garnish with a sprig of parsley.
