When I was relaxing in Crimea 2 years ago, in one of the local cafes I tried dolma. The dish is somewhat reminiscent of familiar cabbage rolls. I had never cooked it before, but sitting in the country in the shade under the grapes, I remembered the Crimea, the sea and dolma. I decided to cook this dish, but I did not have a dolma recipe. In principle, how to cook dolma was intuitive to me. And I got to work ...

Ingredients:

  • round rice - 1 cup;
  • beef - 400 grams;
  • sour cream - 50 grams;
  • onions - 100 grams;
  • garlic - 1 clove;
  • salt pepper
  • grape leaves - for the whole filling.

Dolma. Step by step recipe

  1. Rinse rice, wash until water is completely clear.
  2. Twist the meat and onions in a meat grinder.
  3. Mix the minced meat, rice, garlic, salt and pepper.
  4. Wash the leaves of grapes, remove hard tails.
  5. In each leaf, wrap a tablespoon of the stuffing, roll it up, hide the edges.
  6. In a saucepan with a thick bottom, lay out the dolma in layers, completely pour in water and salt. Cook for 40 minutes.
