- Gooseberry - 1 kilogram;

Step-by-Step Recipe for Gooseberry Jam
Before you make gooseberry jam, make sure that the berries are already quite ripe!
- Wash the berries well, drain the water, remove the stalks and dry flowers.
- Before cooking, crush 0.5 kilograms of gooseberries and rub through a sieve.
- Put the resulting mashed potatoes in an enameled bowl, add 2 cups of water, 0.5 kilograms of gooseberries and sugar and cook until tender over low heat. Do not forget to stir the jam so that it does not burn.
- Pack hot jam in sterilized dry jars, cover and tightly seal. Cool without turning the cans over.
Gooseberry jam made according to this recipe is tasted like honey grapes. It is delicious, sweet with a slight acidity.
