Peking cabbage and ham salad

The salad recipe with Peking cabbage and ham was invented back in the 14th century by French chefs. Many pieces of meat remained, which were not customary to serve, and, having thought of combining vegetables with smoked meats, made a real sensation among the French elite.

Ingredients:

  • Beijing cabbage - 1 small head of cabbage;
  • boiled ham - 300 grams;
  • eggs - 3 pieces;
  • chicken fillet - 150 grams;
  • spicy carrots (you can take ordinary carrots in Korean) - 200 grams;
  • mayonnaise - 100 grams.

  1. Boil chicken and cut into strips.
  2. Cut the ham too.
  3. Peking cabbage finely chopped.
  4. We beat the eggs into a bowl, add a tablespoon of flour and water. Makes an omelet-like mixture. Fry in butter.
  5. Cut the resulting cake into strips.
  6. Combine all the prepared ingredients, season with low-calorie mayonnaise. Optionally, add herbs and onions, but this is not present in the original recipe.
