White cabbage 500 g
Garlic 3 cloves
Carrot 200 g
Chilli 1 PC
Rice Vinegar 50-100 ml
Sugar 30 g
Salt 20 g
Greenery taste
Bay leaf taste
Peppercorns 5-7 pcs

Step by step cooking pickled cabbage in an hour with a photo

  1. Rub white cabbage on a special grater for such vegetables or chop thinly with a knife. The capacity in which the cabbage will be pickled should be enameled or glass.
  2. Grate the carrots too. Carrots can be used less. Also, if you have bell pepper, it can also be cut into thin strips.
  3. Cut the garlic into several pieces. Chili pepper cut into thin rings, do not use seeds so that the cabbage is not too sharp.

  8. Pour the hot marinade into the cabbage and leave it for 1 hour. Do not cover with a lid, let it cool naturally. Thanks to these actions, cabbage is very quickly marinated.
  9. Transfer the cooled cabbage to food storage containers or jars with lids, fill with marinade. Put in the refrigerator.
  10. Before serving cabbage, discard it in a colander, pour aromatic vegetable oil, sprinkle with fresh herbs. You can also add a little onion.
