Crispy, whole pickled cucumbers without sterilization and vinegar. This method of preservation allows you to save all the usefulness of cucumbers, and even at the same time they turn out to be incredibly tasty. I tried many recipes, I wanted to feel the full and rich taste of cucumbers in the winter. And I found him, and now I am sharing it with you.

Ingredients:

On a 3 liter jar:

  • Cucumbers - I will not give the exact weight, take medium-heavy cucumbers and put in a jar;
  • leaves of currant, cherry, dill inflorescences;
  • black peppercorns - 3-5 pieces;
  • garlic - 3 cloves;
  • Bay leaf;
  • salt - 2 tablespoons per 1 liter of water.

Step-by-step recipe for pickled cucumbers for the winter without vinegar

  1. Soak cucumbers in water for about 4 hours.
  2. Then we put the cucumbers in a jar (do not forget to put greens and garlic at the bottom) and prepare the brine. Dissolve salt in cold water, add peppercorns and pour cucumbers on it.
  3. Cover with a lid, but do not close, and so leave for three days.
  4. Three days later, drain the brine, rinse the cucumbers and discard the greens.
  5. In sterilized jars, put new washed greens, cucumbers, pour boiling water. Allow them to stand for 15-20 minutes.
  6. Pour into a pan, boil again adding salt and bay leaf and pour cucumbers. Cork lids, turn and wrap in a blanket. Let it stand until it cools.
