Pickled cucumbers without vinegar for the winter

When we preserve cucumbers by adding vinegar to them, we partially destroy the useful microelements and vitamins that they contain. Pickled cucumbers without vinegar for the winter give us the opportunity to preserve as much as possible all the usefulness and nutrition of cucumbers, as well as preserve their wonderful aroma and crunch! (I just really like pickles when they are crispy).

Ingredients:

  • Cucumbers per liter jar;
  • Tarragon - 2 branches;
  • dill umbrella;
  • 1/3 leaf horseradish;
  • currant and cherry leaves - 2-3 pieces;
  • garlic - 3-4 cloves.

For brine:

  • water - 1 liter;
  • salt - 2 tablespoons with a slide.

Step-by-step recipe for pickles without vinegar for the winter

  1. Rinse the cucumbers well, fill with water and leave for 5 hours.
  2. Place the cucumbers in a jar, on the bottom of which first lay the leaves of cherry, currant, horseradish, dill umbrella and tarragon. Throw garlic in a jar.
  3. Prepare a brine from cold, not boiled water and salt, pour cucumbers with it, and leave it in a warm place for 3 days.
  4. It is necessary that foam forms on top of the brine. Drain the resulting brine, boil it and pour the cucumbers again, roll up. Let it cool in the air.
