Pickled tomatoes for the winter without vinegar

The recipe for pickled tomatoes without vinegar is probably not a novelty for someone, but still I consider it necessary to share it. Pickled tomatoes without vinegar are easy to prepare, and as much as possible retain their usefulness. For this recipe you only need water, tomatoes and salt.

Ingredients:

  • Tomatoes
  • water;
  • salt.

Proportions of salt and sterilization time: on a 3-liter jar 1 tablespoon - sterilize for 50 minutes; on a 2-liter jar 1 dessert spoon - sterilize for 40 minutes; on a 1-liter jar 1 teaspoon - sterilize for 30 minutes.

Step by step recipe for pickled tomato without vinegar

  1. Put the tomatoes in jars, pour one teaspoon of salt on top.
  2. Jars with tomatoes put in a pan for sterilization, on the bottom of which be sure to put a cloth. This will save us from cracking the bank. Pour water into the pan so that it covers 2/3 of the height of the cans.
  3. Pour the tomatoes with cold, not boiled water, cover with a lid. Bring the water to a boil, and from the moment of boiling, sterilize exactly following the indicated time for sterilization above.
  4. Then, after sterilization, immediately roll up the jars and wrap them until they cool completely.

Do not worry pickled tomatoes without vinegar will not explode, the recipe is tested times. It was still used by my grandmother, since with vinegar she didn’t cover anything at all.

Delicious to you preparations, and bon appetit!
