Quick spicy cabbage cooked according to this recipe is incredibly tasty. It is impossible to spoil it: it always turns out the first time !!! Pickled cabbage is temptingly appetizing, moderately spicy, but has one drawback: it is eaten very quickly. Perfect for meat dishes and feasts. The recipe is proven, 100% reliable and delicious! - cabbage - 3 kilograms;
- carrots - 3-4 pieces;
- garlic - 5 cloves;
- water - 1.5 liters;
- sugar - ¾ cup;
- salt - 3 tablespoons;
- peas of black pepper - 12 pieces;
- cloves - 5 pieces;
- bay leaf - 4 pieces;
- vinegar 9% - 0.5 cups;
- vegetable oil - 0.5 cups.
Fast spicy cabbage. Step by step recipe
- Initially, we will prepare the marinade. Pour water into the pan (according to the recipe), send to the stove and bring to a boil.
- In boiling water, add sugar, salt, spices (bay leaf, cloves, black pepper peas), mix and boil for 10 minutes.
- Then remove the pan with the contents from the heat, add vinegar, vegetable oil, mix everything well and leave to cool.
- Peel the carrots for pickled cabbage, wash and rub on a coarse grater.
- Cut garlic for spicy cabbage into strips.
- Chop the cabbage into strips.
- We take a large deep bowl and shift shredded cabbage into it.
- In a bowl for cabbage we send prepared carrots, garlic and mix everything well (I do it by hand).
- We put the cabbage in a suitable dish (I use a seven-liter bucket) and pour it with a slightly cooled brine.
- Press the cabbage in the brine with a suitable plate, put the load and place in a cold place for one day.
- After this time, spicy cabbage is ready for use.
- We spread the cabbage in banks and store in the refrigerator under an ordinary lid.
