Salad for the winter

The salad recipe for the winter "Housekeeper" went to my mother, 25 years ago. I did not have a single year that I did not close this salad for the winter. I’ll definitely try new ones, but this one is always on my desk! Firstly, it is quickly prepared (see for yourself), and secondly, delicious at home.

Ingredients:

  • tomatoes - 3 kilograms;
  • onion - 1 kilogram;
  • carrot - 1 kilogram;
  • bell pepper - 1 kilogram;
  • vegetable oil - 300 grams;
  • sugar - 200 grams;
  • salt - 100 grams;
  • vinegar 9% - 100 grams.

  1. Wash all vegetables and peel if necessary.
  2. Cut, and then there is no redistribution of your fantasies. You can cut everything into strips, you can grate a carrot, and tomatoes through a meat grinder. Every year I do it differently and it turns out all the same incredibly tasty.
  3. Put all prepared vegetables in a large pot, add vinegar, salt, sugar, vegetable oil and cook for 25 minutes from boiling.
  4. Arrange hot in sterilized jars and immediately roll up.

I can add such a salad to cabbage soup, and somehow I made fish, but the marinade turned out to be wonderful.
