I really like to cook unusual salads, and I want to share with you such a recipe: a delicious French salad with meat. This is a versatile dish that can be both everyday and festive. The main feature of the salad is its bright color scheme: all the ingredients themselves are of different colors, and their combination on one plate attracts attention. This beauty is prepared quickly and easily, and the taste is simply amazing.


  • potatoes - 200 grams;
  • Korean carrots - 200 grams;
  • beets - 200 grams;
  • pork - 200 grams;
  • cabbage - 200 grams;
  • cucumbers - 200 grams;
  • mayonnaise to taste;
  • salt to taste;
  • pepper to taste.

  1. First, prepare the potatoes. Wash raw potatoes, peel and cut into strips (the straw should be small). Pour chopped potatoes into a hot pan with vegetable oil and fry it until tender. Potatoes must be salted to your liking. As soon as the potatoes are podgolot, remove the pan from the heat and allow the potatoes to cool (I put the potatoes to cool on a paper towel: so that extra fat is stacked from it).
  2. While the potatoes are cooling down, wash my fresh cucumber, peel and cut into small straws. To grate the cucumber, you can use a special grater - the main thing is that the straw is thin. We leave the chopped cucumber in a separate bowl.
  3. We turn to the preparation of beets. Beets need to be washed, boiled and peeled.
  4. For cooking beets, saving my time, I have been using a microwave for a long time. I put the washed beets in a plastic bag, knot them, make a couple of holes so that the steam comes out, send them to the microwave and after ten or fifteen minutes (depending on the microwave power) the beets are ready.
  5. Peeled boiled beets rubbed on a coarse grater. Leave the beets in a separate plate so that the glass is excess liquid.
  6. Boil the meat: if desired, bay leaves, spices or peppercorns can be added during cooking. Allow the meat to cool.
  7. Cut the boiled and cooled meat into thin strips (or you can dice it).

  9. Choose cabbage to your liking: you can use white cabbage or Peking. Rinse the cabbage and cut into thin strips.
  10. When all the ingredients are ready, proceed to the formation of the salad. To do this, take a larger dish.
  11. Place mayonnaise in the center of the plate, and around it, in heaps, lay out our prepared ingredients in turn, without lubricating them.
  12. When all the products are laid out on a plate, you can sprinkle with pine nuts on top.

The main secret of French salad is the selection of ingredients by color. You can show imagination and beautifully decompose products. You can use two spoons to mix the salad when the guests are already gathered.
