Ingredients:

  • tomatoes - 2 pieces;
  • turmeric;
  • greens of fresh parsley;
  • ground black pepper;
  • peas - 1 cup (200 grams);
  • water - 1.5-2 liters;
  • onion - 1 piece;
  • carrots - 1 piece;
  • garlic - 5-6 cloves;
  • salt to taste;
  • bay leaf - 2 pieces;
  • crackers.

Delicious pea cream soup. Step by step recipe

  1. For homemade pea cream soup, I use chopped peas. To make the soup as quick as possible, you need to soak the peas overnight.
  2. The soaked peas are transferred to the pan, pour 3-4 fingers on water, put on high heat and bring to a boil. As soon as the water boils, reduce the heat to a minimum and cook the peas until fully cooked.
  3. On tomatoes, make cross-shaped incisions and fill them with boiling water for several minutes.
  4. We cut one large onion for a lean soup with medium cubes and fry the onion in a small amount of vegetable oil.
  5. Fresh carrots for pea soup grate.
  6. To lightly fried onions, in a pan, send the carrots, mix and continue to fry.
  7. Drain the water from the tomatoes, remove the peel and cut them into small cubes.
  8. Add the tomatoes to the fried carrots with onions, mix lightly and continue to fry.
  9. Finely chop the garlic and send it to the roast. Stew for a couple of minutes and remove the pan with contents from the heat. The grill for the diet soup is ready.
  10. Pour the frying into the pan to the finished peas, add turmeric, black pepper, bay leaf (according to the recipe), salt to taste, mix well and boil for another five minutes.
  11. After this time, we take out the bay leaf from the pea soup and beat everything with a blender.
  12. Finely chop the greens of fresh parsley.
  13. Unusually delicious pea soup before serving, sprinkle with fresh chopped herbs.
  14. Traditionally, such a dish is served with crackers.
